CIVIC AGENTS

At Grupo Nordeste we offer an auxiliary service for mass events by providing civic agents.

They are responsible for carrying out information, awareness-raising and promotion of civic attitudes in order to encourage good coexistence and respect among citizens, as well as the proper use of public and private property in the city.

Its functions are designed to assist citizens in the use of their rights and duties in relation to the rules of civility in force:

Dissemination and promotion of civic-mindedness among users of public spaces and services (public transport, parks and gardens, shopping streets, etc.).

Design and development of activities that will facilitate the improvement of the image and quality of services offered in public spaces.

Carrying out actions to disseminate civic culture among users of public spaces, within the framework of campaigns and related public policies, so that the rights and duties of citizens on public roads are correctly used.

Development of accompanying activities in the use of public spaces for specific groups, or for dependent people who require it (elderly people, people with disabilities, etc.).

Carrying out improvement and repair work on installations and equipment for public use, provided that technically complex repairs are not necessary.

Communication to the relevant administrations of the unsatisfactory use of equipment and facilities for repair or replacement.

Verbal reprimands for uncivil and sometimes conflictive behaviour. It can also contact other public or private security services operating in its geographical area.

Provision of information of practical interest (addresses, location of public transport, public telephones) on resources, equipment, facilities and other organisations or institutions located in their geographical area of work.

Provide information on the services offered in the different open-air shopping centres, or other enclosed areas, and ensure the correct use and maintenance of the public facilities in these areas.

Development of activities of accompaniment in the use of facilities or equipment (lifts, escalators, etc.), for dependent people who require it (elderly people, people with disabilities, etc.).
